[ MEET THE CREW ]
[ Assistant Producer Camera Operator ]
Keith's versatility makes him the go to guy on any of our crews. Camera operator, producer, editor, driver, social media management, Keith is down to make it happen and steps in the gap. He's also really tall and Viv hates running to keep up with his walking pace.
ALYSSA AHRENS [ Producer & Editor]
Two years ago she had never camped or hiked off trail
now she eats entire apples, core and all.
Alyssa makes sure the best laid plans stay on point. It is entertaining to watch her move from phone call to notes to coffee to laptop piggy backing wifi service off the back of a bar 100 miles from her film crew.
[ GlideCam Operator ]
If we wrote a bio for Korb it would likely be inappropriate. He does, however, continually think ahead of the curve on a shoot, anticipating what is needed before you do, including a beer.
ERIK NACHTRIEB [ Executive Producer, Director & GlideCam Operator ]
If he got in your shot you would have to fight off the urge to thank him.
He once brought an iPhone to a shoot, just to even the odds.
He films running, backwards.
In a rainstorm he gave away his jacket, it doesn't rain on him.
He is often detained at the border, just because they find him interesting.
When he wins awards for his films, he's seldom in the country to receive them, best feature film "The Traveler".
VIV SMITH [ Executive Producer, Director & Senior Editor ]
We are glad to still have Viv on The Crew, as she was nearly sold for 10 sheep to a Massai warrior in Tanzania. Apparently shipping sheep to Australia was cost prohibitive and the deal was off.
She once fell off a cliff in Nepal, punched a baboon in Kenya and speaks French... in France. An award winning filmmaker, Best Feature Film "The Traveler", toured 38 cities in the USA.
If you can't understand her accent follow her pictures @viv_smith
[ Director & Pilot at Falkor Aerials ]
Larkin divides his time between his engineer job at NASA and constructing and flying his custom machines for Falkor Aerials.
His camera might be in the clouds but he's the most down to earth crew member - not even a river crossing can rattle this guy!
BRIAN LEITTEN [ Producer & Director ]
Brian used to transits from New York to LA when we worked as Creative Director for Vevo but now he lives out of his showing up most of The Crew. He considers Gold Fish a delicacy...we haven’t told him only in a 5 foot radius of himself.
Food choices aside, did we mention Brian has an Emmy?
[ Director of Mayan Mountain Adventure Challenge Production ]
He's been to known to sleep in a bivvy at home, next to a king-sized bed. Scott had a job, friends, and a life at some point.. but he traded it all for chasing the Spandex Parade through the jungle while wondering what being an accountant is like. He'll trade you his right earlobe and 3 left toes if you have some gear to sell. He's too busy editing to take your call, so leave a message.
JD [ Mountain Saftey ]
JD comes from the military so is certified bad ass.
He also knows how to speak to The Crew so they'll understand important survival methods ... in simple rhymes. These are some of his best:
- Every ounce counts!
- Travel lite freeze at night!
- When in doubt, throttle out!
- Hydrate or die.
