[ EXECUTIVE TEAM ]
Viv holds a Bachelor of Digital Media from the College of Fine Arts, part of which she completed in Paris at the Université Diderot, making her a fluent French Speaker and holder of useless film facts.
Her first job included flying around the world to exotic and remote locations to film and produce adventure productions, where she gained practical experience in editing, camera work, directing and producing.
Viv has also gained valuable business and marketing experience after working in a Sydney based advertising company; Brains Designs. During this time she branched out to work in fashion, feature film production, commercials, corporate video and music videos.
But advenutre chased her down and Viv joined 1iOpen Productions where she now executive produces and directs her own work.
Viv is also a keen musician, proficient in piano and trumpet (and recently Ukulele - a more suitable option for a life on the road).
Erik holds a Masters in Molecular Biology from Western Washington University and worked as a scientist in stem cell research at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center until he moved on.
He moved on to building a construction and design firm in Seattle, spending 13 years in contract negotiation and project management.
During this time Erik had been actively competing in Adventure Racing, including the popular TV show "Eco Challenge" where he raced in Fiji for 10 days - now hailed as the toughest adventure race in history.
Finally Erik combined everything into a passion for storytelling, creating 1iOpen Productions. 1iOpen's work has relied on Erik's business skills, negotiation tactics and management experience to arrange access to military controlled zones and cooperation with foreign governments and clients.
Erik competed in the USA wrestling Olympic trials and has forgotten every word he ever learnt in Japanese.
